OVERVIEW :
We are seeking a reliable and task-oriented individual who will directly support Business and Operations functions for our customer.
The ideal candidate is highly self-motivated, enthusiastic, detail-oriented, professional, and
capable of managing their workload and prioritizing tasks.
GENERAL DUTIES :
Writings may include talking points, communications plans, scripts and other narrative material for various venues.
Conduct interviews of individuals and attend events to collect information for articles to further the customer’s communication efforts.
Consider overall policies, mission, vision and strategic goals of the customer in deciding what information to present.
Edit draft and finalized documents through application of substantial knowledge and understanding of editing and writing standards, procedures, formats and terminology.
Review narrative presentation, tables, graphs, drawings, appendices, and other illustrative material. Edit for conformance to customer requirements and Army Regulations.
Review material for proper grammatical usage, punctuation, format, spelling, style, and order of presentation.
Rewrite sentences within paragraphs to improve clarity of meaning and consistency. Check references to other publications for accuracy of titles, numbers, dates, and applicability of subject matter.
Coordinate changes or extraordinary situations regarding format, content, grammatical usage, etc., with the customer. Attend in-process reviews.
